Allen
The bog of Allen is an environmentalist's haven with it's famous Lullymore
Heritage park and peatland world museum. It's habitats are unique to
the bog as are it's wild rugged views. The Hill of Allen is to the
north of Allen village and was the supposed encampment of the legendary
Fionn MacCuille and his Fianna. At the foot of the hill and entwined by
a maze of twisty little country roads lie the pretty villages of
Killmeague, Coill Dubh and the famous canal town of Robertstown
