The BTC (Business and Technology Centre) was set up
in 1988 to act as the interface between the academic and research departments of Carlow RTC and the business comm
unity at large. To execute its function the BTC implements numerous
programs and manages various sub-centres. Information is available on each of these initiatives (listed below).
Staff in the BTC are available at any time to assist
members of the public and the college in their joint endeavours in improving current business practice or starting up new ones. T
he staff are always willing to discuss new projects even at the idea
